Welcome!!

“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away” Anonymous. I first heard this quote in the movie Hitch starring Will Smith and Kevin James. At the time I was in the process of healing from a major operation. It is in those moments that you realize life is not about quantity  but the quality of the life you live.

This blog comes out of my experiences. I have learned to enjoy the most simplistic things in life while maintaining some sense of sanity in the midst of changes both personally, professionally and spiritually. I am a survivor on so many levels and continue to move forward as directed by God who is my source…period!!

When I started this blog in 2012 I had no idea how substantial living by the motto of life is measured by the moments that take your breath away. In the past ten years my whole foundation was lost. Starting with my grandmother, a year later my father, then followed by my stepfather and on and on until the passing of my mother in 2018.

Following the passing of my mother I left NYC to move  upstate. What a great event for me and my son. Then here comes my own set of challenges. I was diagnosed with MS in 2019,. Following that as everyone knows was the pandemic. Then in 2021 I was in surgery for a left hip replacement, only to find out as I was recovering I had to have the right one done as well.

I still have challenges. BUT GOD!! I am still here to tell the story and know that He has me in the palm of his hands. No doubt about it. So again I rededicate this space to LIVING!! no complaints. If you have the ability to change anything, then do it!!

Come and be inspired, encouraged and motivated. I love to share ideas and hope to share with others in the process. It will cover all aspects from home, family, finances, travel etc. If you have something to share please pass it on.

Peace and blessings to all!!

Pam
